Bio

Brian Rolling is an award winning filmmaker and graduate of New York University's Tisch school of the arts. His, award winning, senior thesis film "Father's Day" is currently on the festival circuit. This March it had its premiere screening at NYU's First Run Film festival where it was award a Craft Award for achievement in acting.

At NYU, he was the recipient of the prestigious, merit-based, WTC Johnson Fellowship, a full tuition fellowship awarded to one undergraduate filmmaker a year. He was selected one of fourteen students to study at the acclaimed FAMU institute in Prague, Czech Republic where he shot and directed a film on 35mm. His junior year film "Over You" has played in festivals from coast to coast.

He has been the director of photography on many student films, and currently works as an editor and DP on a web-series, titled Johnny B. Homeless, which shoots in L.A. He is also currently writing a feature version of his film "Father's Day" which he hopes to shop around sometime next year.

He spent his summers working with Chicago based Stone Road Productions, where he edited and shot professional industrial videos and commercials. This summer he also worked with Kevin Powell, a candidate for congress in Brooklyn's 5th district, making campaign videos.
